Look out 'cause here comes Rumble!

Recommended Posts

He looks mis-transformed, the legs look very short while the arms look bulky. Maybe later pictures of him transformed correctly will help. Doesn't look bad though, could be worth getting once he's released.

Remember, we all seemed to think alt Prime was mistransformed and he wasn't.

That's true, guess we'll see when he's released then. The legs look so short, maybe they have to be pulled out like Prime and Skids needed or there's another part that has to be swung up and forms the knees. Just have to wait and see. He does look good, I have to admit that. A vry fitting homage in many ways, maybe there'll be an extra homage like a tape in Rumble colours sticking out of the tape player in the alt mode's inside decals.

Maybe there will be a Frenzy repaint if this one does well and who knows, maybe they'll do other characters who transformed into tapes, like Ratbat and Steeljaw and others. Anything's possible.

They could of used a better car a Honda Civic thats kinda weak for a Decpticon. :tfpuke

It's a good disguise. Who pays any attention to Civics? He'd still be a great spy.

yes, but they have done single assortment alts before (swerve, which like camshaft was a minor remold, is a great example).

True, but Swerve was the third release of a mold.

The next case assortment is likely to be Prime, Mirage, Camshaft and Rumble. Assuming that this ships heavily during December and is around for at least a month or two (which has been the norm) it will mean that Prime was technically "available" from April to February, which is plenty of time - any longer and I think they'd be flirting with shelfwarming.

I'll never understand why people give G1 tech specs and toy naming conventions precedence over the show when it comes to canon. I don't see the same people rushing to defend BW battle masks or bat/alligator Primal and Megs. I guess BW is just held to a different set of standards than the original series.

A more apt analogy would be if Tigatron were a blue and yellow cheetah on the show and Cheetor were a green and white tiger.

looks good, but there are too many red alts. I want green ones, danmit! not dark green like hound, either. bright green.

well you gotta consider, how many stock green cars do you see...

well, two of the four cars I've driven have been green...and while a lot of American muscle cars aren't green, a lot of foreign stuff like hondas often green.

There's Legend Lime, available on the current Mustang. Looks pretty decent too. And as for Rumble being a Civic, he's supposed to pretty much be a street punk. Street punks love Civics, at least around here. So in my eyes it makes perfect sense.

And frankly I don't care if Rumble has hands or not. I'd end up displaying him with the piledrivers out anyway.

Is there any doubt that the repaint into Frenzy will be the most welcomed repaint that Alternators has ever had?

No doubt here.
