Angry with "Pedophilic" KISS Convoy?

Recommended Posts

It's not child porn. The "children" in question aren't even real people. Still, it's not anything that I'd let my child play with. At the same time, I have to agree that these things don't seem to be made for kids. I'm sticking with my "It's gross, but if you want to buy it, feel free, but don't rub it in my face" opinion.

Someone must not pay attention to Japan much... Japan has a different way of life than us sheltered Americans.

If this topic gets locked, it basically proves this point. Adults here can only talk about Transformers for children, and not Transformers for adults. Its pretty sad really.

If not objectifying women over the age of 18 as younger, prepubescent, little girls makes me a shelterd American, so be it. I'll take that any day of the week over a sexually repressed Japan. And, I'll say it again, just because it is not from "my culture," doesn't make it ok. For an over-the-top, extreme example, I'm sure it was fine for the Germans to feel justified in their ethnic cleansing practices during WWII. A matter of national pride in fact. The rest of the world didn't think so. I don't think the rest of the world should be ok with this Japanese stuff either. My 2 cents.

You can complain about it all you want, but unless you live in Japan, it doesn't mean anything. These toys are targetted for sale in Japan, not in the US, or England or wherever you might live. So if you don't like it, don't buy it. But don't badmouth another country's culture just because you think they should be more like you.

this is so far from child pr0n - if u think this is child pr0n - u need to get out into the world a bit.....

I'd rather stay well away from the dark seedy corners of the world where hard core child porn is rampant. Thanks for the offer but no thanks. :wave

took me so literal there that u lowered your own intelligence.......I could change the way I say it to convey the idea u so superbly missed but I will direct you instead to goki's post....good luck....

goki - tell us the story about the street fight......get some good stuff in this thread....

my only real complaint with KISS series is the price - and I wish they had a nutsack chin to match that guys Night Viper tongue - lol - kidding...kidding.....

I thought the 'prime directive' forbid you to impose your views on lesser advanced cultures than your own.

:roll

Jeebus, no wonder other countries thinks that Americans are arrogant - we have people like you who become president, and then force feed your morally elitist views on other cultures - whether they like it or not. :tdown

Thanks for your 2 cents, but you can have it back to help pay for your junior "moral police" badge.

Well this sucks!

I had only glanced at the first leaked Legion comic art briefly and never really noticed his tongue. I had only noticed the first panel where the girl was near the wall...and instead of her back against the wall in fear, she was bent over, panties exposed, with him creeping up behind her. I quit paying attention when I saw that Legion's tongue ripped off Auto Looper's arm. Now I am a little shocked. Regardless of what the girl's age is, Legion's tongue is clearly an aggressive sexual organ and she is not giving consent.

I can say as an importer, I will definetely have to put some kind of warning on our Kiss Player's Page. I am a very open minded person, but when things go from borderline sexual to hardcore pornographic, I kinda have to worry about who is buying these from me in the States. Which is fine with me...I am choosing to import this line for my customers who want these TF items.

As I have mentioned before Kiss Players is clearly targeted to Japanese consumers, so Takara is giving customers what they want...I think. The the storyline is way more adult-themed than I anticipated and I kinda wonder how Japanese TF fans are digging this storyline...does anyone know how Kiss Convoy is selling in Japan? Did the Radio Show do well?

i don't agree with it, but believe heavily in peoples freedoms, no matter where they live. Censorship in all forms is BS, just don't buy it and be happy with that...

I agree. I'm not going to petition this thing. I'm just going to personally boycott it. :D Other people purchasing it will not harm me in any way.

little does am know i have a big slingshot loaded with kiss convoys aimed straight at his head.

It is pretty weird, but I guess it's what they like in Japan. Maybe that's why Japan doesn't have the same problems with paedophiles as we do in Europe and the US because they see that kind of thing a lot, so they're immune to it while here that kind of thing is censored, so those who's tastes go to that area do anything to satisfiy their desires. Not that I condone such things, not after what I went through at the hands of a paedophile, but it would explain the differences in sexual interests in the different cultures.

It could also explain why paedophiles like Gary Glitter and many others tend to go to countries like Vietnam, Japan and Korea because they're able to do their twisted desires there easily, until they get caught. But I do agree that products like that are very odd to see and disturbing, especially if the character is supposed to be in her twenties but looks like she's barely out of nappies. At least it isn't actual paedophile toys, that would be disgusting to see.
