Energon Sixshot hands down, he was almost successful. Heck, if he hadn't played around so much he would have assassinated Galvatron , but alas no, he just had to monologue :tflaugh

My first would be Blitzwing. He really wasn't a traitor but he was the only one to realize how close they came to losing Cybertron and the war itself so he was ready to do anything to stop the war. He knew Rodimus was smart enough to lay his arms down but Galvetron needed brute force to go heads up with him to see.

 

Blackarachnia was one of the smoothest turncoats I've seen to date and Tarantulas played the role with Megatron but was still loyal to the Tripredicus Council.

 

Grimlock in the Marvel comics wasn't really a betrayel to the Autobots itself but he betrayed the ideologies the Autobots had after Prime was destroyed.

 

Starscream doesn't need to be spoken on in any series and Blitzwing's was noble to end the fighting because so much has happeend that day and nobody stopped to think about it.

Optimus Prime.

 

I remembered in the old American Marvel Transformers comic where he was captured, then was reprogrammed by Shockwave. When he returned to the Autobots, Optimus Prime started to blast the Autobots away (and seriously wounding a lot of them in the process) until he managed to override the program and stopped icing the Autobots. :(

 

There was another time in the Comics where he shared the Creation Matrix with Megatron so that Megatron can create the Stunticons.

He didn't share it with Megatron. Megatron was able to draw the power from the Creation Matrix while Optimus was giving the Ariealbots life. Megatron just piggy backed it.

Seriously, you must be joking. The head that was reattached to Prime's body wasn't his. It was a facsimile created by Shockwave to control Prime's body and do Shockwave's bidding.
