TF Movie Images

Good CGI, but not realistic CGI. They look like something you'd see in a PS3 game, not on a big budget movie. Maybe it's the lighting or the black background, but they're lacking something. Maybe these actually are video game model shots?

Well, watch how Pixar does it any you will realize that these are rough sketches compared to the fully rendered, lighted, background, etc... image that goes into real movies.

Exactly. ILM knows what they're doing. I mean, the CGI in Ep3 looked pretty awesome.

:eek

While I will give these pics a big HOLYSH*TINATENGALLONHAT!!1!!11!!11!!...

I must say that I doubt them as "official". Someone (possibly Bay) said before that the character designs were being kept under the TIGHTEST SECURITY POSSIBLE, and that he wanted it so that the fans would not get to see the bots robot forms until the day the movie is released in theaters.

At least, in a perfect world, that's how Michael would have it :eplus :mwahaha

Oh, no doubt, I have a lot of faith in ILM, but something about the CG here doesn't seem right. Even if they are early "sketches" the quality is a little unusual. It seems like too much work to be a stand-in model, but not enough work to be a final model or something I would leak. Maybe that's just me, I'm a bit of a perfectionist...

Thankfully he isn't in charge of those types of things. We'll be seeing the toys by February at Toy Fair if not sooner and they'll be out in full force at stores by June.
