I've heard that those may be billed as Buzzsaw and Lazerbeak, "Reformatted" as Ravage was. I think that's probably the most likely case for those figures. I may end up nabbing them if I have the extra cash, but I'm MUCH more interested in the pre-BW forms for the characters who were actually ON the show.

And does anyone know what BotCon has spelt "Darksyde" with a "y"? No pun intended, but WHY? I don't see the point in it. It's not like War Within where the Dinobots are called "Dynabots" - the respelling actually serves a purpose there.

Why, last I checked Tarantulas turned into a Motorbike (ala Ransack) I understand a Towtruck mirrors a Spiders thread but its WAY too bulky for Tarantulas.

Heh. No, that was my typo, not necessarily Hasbro's :) At least on Laserbeak. The set does officially use Darksyde, not sure why.

And Rattrap turned into a road racing dragster, not a motorbike. Transmetal third modes mean nothing to me.

 

I chose that mold for my idea because of the similarities: The heads are remarkably close without need for remolding (unlike Ransack), and the front of the alt mode forms the torso (mimicing the spider head). Really, towing cable - webbing was the last thing on my mind. I was just going by what was logical to make.

Waspinater is an exclusive now !? To bad I can't go now, I wanted this to be my first Botcon, but perhaps next year. BTW does any one know what mold there using for Waspy ?
