Alternators are 15.00 at Wal-Mart

Recommended Posts

The Alts that that had been clogging my local Wal-mart's shelves for months are indeed $15. I finally broke down and got a Ricochet. I was planning not to, since he isn't one of the G1 Autobots from the first satalog way back in '84. But now, that rule is broken and all of a sudden I want Grimlok, Shockblast, etc. Curse you, lack of willpower!!

that's cool, however reminds me of last year this time when wal fart did the same thing. To think I just found Prime, mirage and camshaft last week and they were still $19.96

Me too

Although, I do think that the newer Meister doesn't look as good as initial release.

Right. On my first run Meister the difference isn't that great, but on the rerelease I saw some of the panels, like the triangular hood part, was more of a cream color like it had been stained by smoke.

That's probably because the Meisters aren't new, but rather two year old toys that have been sitting in a crate in a hot, humid warehouse all this time. Just my personal theory...

So every one's discrediting my post I guess :redface Meister's white panel color varied on the first batch. Since the plastic is semitransparent, the black of his robot parts seeps through and make it look darker in some areas.

aww, poor baby... you actually found the ones people are wanting for retail price and didn't have to pay extra for them... poor poor baby....

:grr

You'll find clearance prices and selection vary from Wal-Mart to Wal-Mart. Not all Wal-Mart's carry Alternators, and not all of them will be clearancing them. Though if they're not carrying them during the Holiday season, they will be clearanced eventually.

BT Meister is a pearly color. Maybe the new Meister is slightly recolored to more closely match the real white on the Mazda RX-8 like the BT version.

BT is on the left, original Alt is on the right.

Sorry man, I didn't even read your post. I was just being sarcastic. And the Alt actually looks a lot better, IMO. Speaking of Meister, a friend of mine got the Jazz Reprolabels the other day, and they look badass! I'm thinking I may invest in some myself.

Yeah, saw that at my local walmart yesterday. There's a ton of skids, and a bunch of other random ones there. Still no mirage or prime. :redface
