Titanium Disappointment

Recommended Posts

I just got the Megatron and Optimus figures from the Titanium series. They look great in the package but then the love affair quickly ends after that. First it took me 10 minutes to get through all those twisty ties! (They complain about Masterpiece Prime's stacks being a choking hazard!). Anyway, I challenge anyone reading this to try and transform Megatron or Prime without having a piece of them falling apart! I just hope the others in this line aren't this flimsy.

man that sucks, not to sound like a dick or anything but i also hope it's just yours :-P

wow man, sad to hear that.

:guh Hate to hear that. I'm already getting a bit doubtful about getting these, bit this is not goof to hear.

*is not detered*

I was psyched after the first pics came out..but after seeing Remy's gallery I am not as excited anymore.  I love G1 and diecast, but it dosent seem to have done these figures any good.  What scares me the most is that Remy's pics always make the toy look better than they really are.

With that said, I will buy them immediately when I see them.

u need wire cutters... that will end ur frustration... i can't say the same about the figure though... i left mine in the package n its going to stay that way :tftongue

Same problems with Megs here.  Getting the fig out of the package is very hazardous, even for a 26-year old.  I don't see the point of including a stand that has absolutley no support for this relatively weighty figure.

Also, I don't know why his knees bend at all since he can't stand upright when they're flexed.

I'm not one to criticize many figs, but this was a waste of money imho.

I had no problems with my Titaniums. Then again, years of opening packages WITHOUT incident has probably benefitted me somewhat.

wait a sec... the transforming titanium (not the lil statues) series is officially in store now? when did this happen?
