Isn't the cover supposed to be 'TRANSFORMING!"...

Meaning, doesn't it have multiple images that changes as you move it/move around it...kinda like how some posters are. I believe the term for it is lenticular. If you notice all the characters from the Optimus, Grimlock, & Co. are in the same positions as Rodimus, Arcee, & Co. So I would imagine it's just one of those movable image layovers that changes as you move and look at it.

Yeah...lookie at this:

Thats pretty cool Deathmarch.

Danial is Bumblebee, who knew!

Exactly what is wrong with TFTM's animation? Yeah, it's a small step down from the GoBots movie as far as consistency but the American animated films that have bested it since are on a damned short list. I'd probably never make it through a whole movie drawn like the eyesores that Dreamwave and IDW have published. Modern TF comics really give off an "X-treme!" vibe when they're not putting me to sleep...at which point it's another 8-page art book that can't really teach me anything. TFTM's camera work and pacing, on the other hand, are far more ambitious than an awful lot of what gets released today. I really hate to see it put upon by the religion of old-is-bad-because-theres-a-new-fad-out-now.

Absolutely I expected them to do so. Why should that be out of the question for a commemorative release? For the definitive release of the film? This isn't "TF:TM The Special Edition" or something; it's the original movie. And that cover means nothing to me.

I certainly don't consider some Dreamwave-ish POS fan art-looking thing to be an upgrade from the original, anyway.

Ok....so this DVD release is going to have two covers? Man, what a way to make MORE money off the collectors....like me. :D

*wishes that they used the original cover art, maybe with a foil look or something, instead of this new cover art which shows little more than Rodimus Prime's sculpted legs :guh*
