meh, both of their alt modes suck imo, but 'Plex's bot mode looks realy awsome so ima go ahead and get him, deffinatly skipping menasor though

id go with metro since you also get the gold key to use with primus

if u can find a metroplex that hasn't snapped in half at the waist i'd say go for it, *mine is suffering from this problem* but i'm a big menasor person.. ahh wtf, if u can get both do it :thumb

Please tell me you're talking about G1 Metroplex. :redface This is the first I have ever heard of Cybertron Metroplex snapping at the waist.

 

On topic. I definitely think Metroplex is more bang for your buck. Fanboy Starscreaming about his alt mold aside IMO the bot mold easily makes up for this. I mean come on he's freaking taller than most of the Supremes he has two bot molds and a big ass sword. The articulation and posability also looks second to none. Don't have him yet but hopefully my opinion of him will hieghten when he arrives next week. At the very least I can't see myself being disappointed by him.

 

As for Menasor,(we're talking Cybertron here right) If there was an option for both I'd definitely say go for it. Don't as of yet have him either but from what I've seen and been hearing as of late he's pretty damn good for what he is. The alt mold IMO definitely looks badass and though not very thought out or complicated is exactly what is looks like. A mean drilling/plowing piece of heavy equipment. Bot mold looks fantastic, and the colours work well and look a lot nicer than Metroplex. Only thing he really lacks is hands which is unfortunate.

I prefer Menasor. His bot mode is badass, his colour scheme looks really cool and his alt mode is unique.

hmm, both of em are soundin good about now lol, but im kinda leaning twords menasor, hes cheaper, and IMO allmost as kool as metro. as for the whole key thing, i can just paint it gold no prob lol :thumb

I can't believe I am saying this, but I say go for Menasor.

 

I thought that was a terribly designed bot, until I found one in the store and bought it simply b/c I had never seen one before. I still haven't opened him, but the alt mode actually looks really cool (which was my biggest complaint before I actually saw him) and I think that he will be pretty rare, whereas Metro is very common.

 

There is some logic behind getting the key w/ Metro, and the fact that he isn't really that bad of a figure, but you can get him anytime I think.

 

Go for Menasor if you are thinking about. You can get Metro in a few months when you have more $$ to blow.

 

(goes off to finally open Menasor, Bendy Prime, Brimstone and Snarl that have been sitting around for over a week, still haven't decided whether to open or sell the Quickmix I found though, any advice on that one???)
