would prefer it plastic tbh

I'll get it.  My 20th Anni Prime could use some replacement parts in some areas.  And of course, there's the stand.  And I could use a new Megatron gun (mine broke :tfsad )

How do you guys break your Megatrons?  Is there some flaw I should be made aware of?

the hindge on the stalk is very weak, the rivet holding the rubber joint tore through this part. word of advice, once u take out megs and straighten out the stalk leave it that way! this rubber piece eventually gave on mine after taking it out and putting it back into the packaging several times.

Well there's your problem. Leave it out of the box.

But he's serious though.  The rivet and hinge are the problem.  My sister like "wittle Megatwon" and I let her play with him, not thinking at the time.  About a week after I got Prime, she came and said "Noah, Megatwon handle bwoke" (she's 8 now, but at the time she was 6, what do you want).  I told her no big deal, but secretly I was kind of miffed about it.  So this gives me a chance to get a new Megatron.  And like I stated before, there are some pieces on the reissue I wouldn't mind swapping out with my original.

If it was all plastic and they were charging $80 for it, it would have been the rip-off of the century.

hmmmm i played with mini megs quite a bit so guess i'm lucky on that front :-P

and yea, now that i know they're going to slap that ultra high price tag on him, i'll only get him on uber clearance for the base and maybe one for alt mode just kuz the mould rocks
