My friend talked to someone named Keith, and he said it would take three weeks to process the order, then be shipped... presumably from Hong Kong.

My friend talked to someone named Keith, and he said it would take three weeks to process the order, then be shipped... presumably from Hong Kong.

But all I know is this, if it doesn't come in, then a friendship is on the line. If this was a lie to get money out of me.

i dunno man... nobody else seems to know anything, the supervisor hasn't called me back yet... i'd ask for a copy of his confirmation email as it doesn't seem anybody here's got them yet

Okay, excuse my language but THIS is REALLY PowerglideED UP.  I just called, talked to "Charles".  He told me that if I placed my order over the phone I am "Guaranteed" to recieve my order.  I asked him why I hadn't recieved a confirmation email and he said there may not be any sent.

Now get this:

He said I should expect it to take three weeks to recieve my NPs.  Not only that, but when I asked him if he could at least check for my order and confirm over the phone he said it was not in their system--and may never show up in their computer system because the whole thing is being bypassed and the orders are being fulfilled/shipped manually.  He said I may actually have my stuff before it ever gets into their computer, if at all.

I pressed the issue a bit, informed him there's a rather large community that wanted these things and that we all compare notes on the different stories we've all been told.  He got a bit huffy, and reiterated that if an order was placed over the phone it was guaranteed to be filled and shipped.  I didn't ask about the website orders.

Now I'm not sure exactly what this means.  Maybe he wanted me to just go away.  But in three weeks I guess we'll see.

My guess on this whole thing is, somehow-some way-someone in Hasbro's distribution network screwed up royally, and NP got short-shipped.  They ran out too fast at SDCC, faster than expected.  And, I'm betting, judging from how fast they went at the Con they realized just how screwed they were.  The high traffic at the site made things bad, crashing the whole thing--he did mention ALL SDCC exclusives were having the same issues--and then having some, but not all, of their CS reps taking orders by phone made it worse, because they really didn't know if they could fill them or not.  Hence, three weeks' expected processing/shipping for the orders, which for HTS has usually taken only a week at most for me.  They're prolly scrambling to get more from overseas.  Maybe they weren't planning on filling ANY orders.  Maybe someone said the magic "L" word-Lawsuit--to the right CS rep or supervisor.  Who knows, maybe after this debacle they'll try again to put it on the site.  But as I said above, I'll know more in three weeks if my NPs come in.  If not there'll be Hell to pay--especially if my credit card statement shows the charges.

Well  here the  what i got when i emailed them  and ask the same questions. As to howif could seel out when never in stock

We'll never really admit that we royally screwed things up.  Plenty of Transfans saw this comming, yet we either didn't or couldn't be bothered to do anything about it.

You can look for the latest Alternators toys at your nearest toy retailer.

However all you'll find is Rollbar and Ricochet.

We know we have you hooked.

Kind (lack of) regards.

Hasbro.
