Yeah, I'm actually very suspicious as to where all those orders went.  It does make me wonder if they simply never got them in and are waiting for the shipment to show--I really have no idea.

 

My problem with calling multiple times was that the customer service reps on the phone gave differing answers.  Sometimes you'd get a few that said the same thing, but towards the end it was clear they were going by what was told to them by their supervisor.

 

If they really never got them, the smart thing to do would be to reset this whole thing and choose another release date.  Otherwise, if they are just waiting for them to show then that can happen at any time.  They end up online and sell in no time, with many of us not even knowing.

 

I don't know.  I practically wish there was more evidence that people actually got one and we could say for sure this thing was out of stock.  That's the frustrating part--I don't think we really know what's going on at all.

And that's just the way they want it.  The Blotty part for them is that the truth will eventually get out... people are going to be more pissed then than if they just owned up right at the start.

i called and they said they were sold out yesterday. its 624 am in ca. i can sleep now

i think whats more f^cked up is the fact that it was sold out before this figure was even instock. this is bullsh*t lol.

Funny, because one of the last calls yesterday said it was marked as "sold out" to get people to stop reloading while they were working out their technical problem/getting their shipment/etc.  A previous poster even said that it went from "coming soon" to "out of stock" in the space of one 10-second auto-refresh, which would seem to support the "changed it to get you off of our backs" line.

 

How many other people have called this morning?  How many have gotten other stories, like yesterday?  How many have pointed out these discrepancies?  I'm going to call when I'm done with my food, does anyone have the number handy?

corporate rant sent. i spoke to tara and she said to keep calling and keep checking the website everyday till it does become available for purchase. lesson learned, just evilbay it.  :redface
