Ouch, thats sneaky.  I wonder though if he can actual hold it binding if you did clikc buy it now.  I mean he has it up for 9.99, then wants 165 instead.  Some how I'm not sure he could hold you to the 165.  Of course you'd never see the figure either.

This is the first time I saw this trick pulled out. Yeah, either way, he's going to come out winning.  :wtf

What's so sneaky about it? I've seen so many auction with a low "buy it now" price with high shipping to make up for it. It's a rather common procedure.

well i guess anyone of you knows why that... ebay cant charge shiping costs, so he won't be charged so much for the item itself since looks like he sold it for 10. IMO its not a bad thing to do as long as it made clear, and this guy explained it very well so i dont really mind. after all sky lynx is not cheap anyway :)

:tdown That is cheap, no way you look at it.  What he's doing is circumventing Ebay fees, which is a big NO-NO.  Completely against Ebay policies, not that I agree with them all the time.  He'll get kicked off Ebay for sure if they find out.

the bottom of the listing also says shipping is free! lol

Pay on a credit card & claim the shipping fees back under the "Item/service not as described" clause, using his actual shipping cost as proof. Could work?

i don't see what's the problem. buying a sky lynx will cost you that much more or less. you are gonna spend lets say 160 dollars. then i wouldn't really mind if that money goes all to the guy or part to ebay and part to the seller. to me is just the same.

he stated clear he wants so much money, and he's not willing to give it to ebay. fine with me. if someone bids without reading its his fault.

all these fees to me are just bollocks. i'd gladly buy him sky lynx if i had the money.

ALSO... speaking of methods to rip ebay off i was thinking about this: you sell something and state clearly that each dollar you bid actually means say 5. that way 10 a dollars bid equals 50 dollars. so an item ended on 20 would actually be 100. yeah the minimum bid is raised = more difficult sniping on last second and serious bidders only.

but then again that was just an idea so i never really minded doing that.

bah happens all the time you guys just watch for too many transformers me on the other hand watch RCs, star wars, and transformers, oh cars too.....people do it all the time.
