Draw SliMaximus and Win

Recommended Posts

well, here's my take... I'm going to go ahead and color it in... for a portfolio at least, even if it doesn't win.

Oh and note that many details will be added once the CGing takes place... I like to do detail in the PC for stuff like this.

dark all I can say is mmmmm beefy

and sureshot did you say my favorit letters cg yeah

I'm still working on mine... glad to see the deadline got extended! I've figured out Galvatron's modifications to become a Headmaster for Cerebros, and I think I've got a decent alt/bot/head mode figured out for him as well. All I've really got left to make up is Sli Maximus' actual body. I'm still finding that my concepts are far beyond my artistic skills though! :(

Okay yall!

I spent some time on this sucker...and here he is: Sli Maximus

I used Fortmax's design as the foundation, seeing as that's whose body was being used. I added as many elements as I could think of to make it resemble Galvatron, and I think that if it were colored, they would become more clear.

It started as a sketch that I scanned in and then I drew the lines over top of it and added the needed details. I have a picture of the "Cerebros" and "Spike" figures that I am working on also. I didn't draw up a base mode, but it would be very similar to Fort Max's...

The legs would be the same way, with the ramp and heli-pad. The back tower would swing around and stick out perpendicular to the body, locked in in the stomach cavity for the base. The head detaches, the back ramp swings up. The two side shoulder/chest pieces slide in and go flush against the body. The arms then rotate back and have ramps on them, ala Fort Max.

If you'de like a quick sketch of the base mode, feel free to ask. I may be compeled to do a complete image of the base mode as well in the near future, but it wont be done in time for the end date of this contest.

I hope ya' like him :D

Verse here,

reporting from the Caribbean (Jamaica to be exact), requesting your permission to enter the competition, Sir!

i might as well give up

i might as well give up

Never give up man, I think your design is as good as any of the other participants :thumb

I was gonna enter, but my tf drawing skills are fairly lacking at the moment....i did start on a pic, maybe i'll finish it sometime before the deadline...we'll see.

So SliMaximus, here's my rendition of… Sli_. It took me three evenings, from pencil concepts to what I have now.

I've used Frotress Maximus as the base figure and add different sections of galvatron here and there. Hope you like.
