Ok it has been 2 and half years since i have been in the transformers loop. alot has happen to me in that time like getting married, being kicked out of my home by my mother-in-law, starting a family , changing jobs, and lots of online gaming.

So the last thing i was into was transformers: Energon, what have i missed and what is coming soon.  Oh if you have any Live action TF movie news point me in that direction.

alternators are still really big.  There's a truck (prime), Ford GT (mirage) and a civic (rumble) coming soon.

Primus should be out in a couple months, along with a deluxe sized tank Unicron.

Some titanium toys are coming in august or so.  3 inch non transforming ones and 6 inch transforming ones.  They don't come from a particular show or comic.  it's kind of a "best of" line.

The classics line is an updated version of some g1 characters.  Most people are pretty psyched about them.

MP-03 Starscream is coming in september.

IDW took over the TF comic liscense in Dec and has one BW mini done, and is wraping up thier first arc in the main TF comic this month.

To be more exact, the Titanium transforming versions seem to be a smattering of 'alternate universe' versions, focused especially on the War Within versions - so far he've had clear views of War Within Optimus Prime, Thundercracker, and Jetfire, and a version of Megatron from a timeline that crossed over with GI Joe (seems like that one is also the least anticipated). Word has it we're also getting Optimal Optimus and Scourge, though no images have been released and though some people claim it's G1 Scourge (and the "sweeps"), there's no evidence one way or another.

The Classics... well, let's just say Hasbro's got all my available spending money this fall.

Takara has merged with Tomy and become TakaraTomy. Since then their interest in Transformers has severely dipped and there's a big question mark hanging over the immediate future of the Transformers in Japan atm.

No news on what the next G1 reissue will be. The Masterpiece line will continue this year with Masterpiece Starscream and a re-release of Masterpiece Convoy with a new trailer.

There was talk of the next Binaltech being KISS Convoy w/ Marissa - it's meant to be a BT version of Alternators Optimus Prime. There's various rumours about how it might be the first plastic BT instead of metal - others say that it might come with a CD or DVD and book. That's all I know about it... :/

As for the movie, I hear that the upcoming Pirates of the Carribean movie will feature a Transformers movie teaser. Does anyone know wtf the official site is counting down to? It's clearly not counting down to the actual movie release date... maybe counting down to the release of the first teaser/trailer?

they started it a little early.  It's counting down to July 4, 2006.  To my knowledge, that date's not important.
