Yea but A lot of ppl have figured out transformations for the Alt Prime chest  that looks better then the Instruction listed one...

I think back to plowking's Alt Plowking custom and thinking how about making the blades a brushguard?

 

Try some metallic markers.  I've been using them (as well as others).  I didn't think I'd like them, but after using them, I love 'em!

I've personally never really been fond of the Armada designs, but your customs shed some new light on characters I never paid attention to in the past.

 

I like how you put "Viper" decals on the hood on your Armada Megatron.  And da~amn, your paint job looks sweet as Hell.  Where does the cannon go when in alt mode?  For the horns, in a worst case scenario, can always go into the bed of the truck.  :thumb

 

The only thing that annoys me is that you've gotten a second Alt Prime to bash, and I'm still trying to hunt down a first one to keep for my collection...  :tdown

That seems to be the general concensus on the Armada characters...I think my love for the characters stems from the fact that Armada was the show that got me back into Transformers. 

 

I wasn't all about buying them at first.  I thought the cartoon was alright, and as the story got better and better (maybe not the animation) I began to buy more and more of the toys, and they were just fun to play with and display!

 

When Alternators came out, I was pyched to see the G1 characters again, but I always hoped they'd make some other non-G1 characters.  To this day...Decepticharge does not cut it! 

 

I guess one could say that Rollbar and Swerve are pretty non-G1, but they too really let me down.  I can honestly say, and I'm not trying to sound overly-confident, but my customs are better!

 

Hell, every custom I've seen on this and any other board is better!

I like the mold better without the "crotch-plate of doom" showing....but I can transform it that way:

Still working on it...the alternate mode needs some fine tuning because the paint must have got a little thick in the leg area...and they won't stay together in alternate mode...

Heya squall, although I forgot to add a Force Chip slot on my Alt Flame Convoy, (if you haven't done so already) you should have a Minicon port on your Alt Armada Megs for his little buddy.  :thumb
