I found an Armada Unicron in an Energon box... Would it be a good investment to pick it up? :tfevil :tflaugh

No. It is not rare. It is a result of Hasbro's greed and/or laziness.

 

They had a bunch of ArmadaCrons left when Energon started to roll out, so they did a "running change", and packed the remaining ArmadaCrons in EnerCron boxes.

Axtually they stated that they still had Armada Uni's left after they printed the Energon boxes and had stopped printing of Armaa boxes, so they just put them in those boxes.

 

Sucks, cuz places had him on sale and got stuck with more of him when they ordered a repaint.

I thought it was funny when I saw it. I almost grabbed one before I realized that my TRU had them stacked to the ceiling! but around here, it's hard to find am armada cron. it's all enercrons now.

what really bums me about this is the fact that i ran to tru the day unicron came out and got him right away. if i had known they were going to produce sooooooooooo many of them i would have waited.

 

i thought i remembered hearing something before unicron was released saying there might not be a big numbered production on him due to size, cost and complexity, so i figured i'd better get one while i can. :wtf

 

thanks to hasbros overproduction the collectors value on him isn't likely to ever be very good. those bastards!!! :grr
