TFCC ripped me off on shipping & charged me scalper prices when I bought stuf from them in the one dreadful year I was a member. I'm glad I see the images early if it upsets them. I could've waited for the images though, I rarely get caught up in all the hype about a toy anyway.

I think TFCC being able to show stuff to members only is cool. I thought it was more cool that I was able to see the pics any way with out being a member while every one else was scrambling. :tflaugh

Hey, any new images that get the fandom excited to buy Hasbro's products are a good thing.

The TFCC is way overpriced for what you get and to have "exlusive pictures" is kinda stupid in this day and age since someone, somewhere is going to post the pics. Now if they want to do more and better exclusive figures than that would be awesome and worth the $$, but trying to keep the pics private is just silly.

I agree, the complaining is uncalled for. I think its perfectly understandable that the club would want to offer their access to such information as a benefit to members. I certainly can't blame them for doing it. That's just business.

The people *backing* the Club are not riding a happy merry go round every day. That license, last I heard, cost a considerable amount of money. I don't have a figure to quote for MC, but I can imagine its probably as much or more than most of our yearly salary.

What's more is there is considerable work that needs to go into monetizing that license. I am not defending Master Collector, but we should all respect and appreciate that there is a risk here. A risk they take for a good pay off. If we want the club to be more appealing. Constructive feedback is a probably a better barometer of which direction for them to take the club in. Its really between them and the people paying for the Club.

^ Yeah depending on how they do, Hasbro may just stop conventions and what not all together.

think its fair enough that the club in itself has the exclusive content, other than the dodgy recolours of energon combiner pieces there has to be some incentive to do it. one thing that pisses me off is the international prices on it. i mean 40 dollars for the US and nearly 90 for international membership is ridiculous, id be tempted if we had it at closer prices if just for the exclusive figure and the newsletters, does make it less tempting that within hours pretty much everything in them is available online anyway :P

TFCC membership is horrendously expensive if you live outside the US. I think the main problem with the TFCC is that many fans just feel that they're not getting value for their money... (especially non-US fans who pay an extra hefty premium).

Holding back images seems silly.  I would think that exclusive remolds/repaints would be enough.  Besides, why have exclusive pics if you're just going to get pissy when someone puts them in a public place?  cuz you know they're gonna.

They just want to nickel and dime us to death.
