A time difference of an hour isn't that big since we don't peruse the boards as often and look at the sources of news before we post here even when we cross-post.

 

Why aren't thanks given when we give you something new but yelled at for when we give you something that's already given? More news is added to the ones that we do cross-post, and not just "Hasbro has officially announced the line."

FWIW, The news section is not for you to be FIRST with the news. That show-off infantile crap went out when we gave Nevermore the boot. So please, cut the bitching about news getting reposted and/or merged - we will work on not duplicating news too. However, its gonna happen and Its pointless to whine about it. Why do you want to piss people off like BWBM and others who spend time helping out? That's not cool.

And on the whole discussion about news: If people are getting pissed about people double-posting, howabout a simple solution? Give us a "TFormers.com news" forum, and a "User-submitted news" forum. The TFormers.com would be like official news, and such.

I think that's actually the root of the comment that spaked this off.

 

As you say, the news isn't about who posted it first, it's about providing news and sparking conversation on the forum.

 

However the couple of deleted (not merged) threads that have actually killed conversations that were in the middle of going on, have served no purpose other than making whichever news person is responsible look as though they're first with the news and essentially tar you all with the same brush, fair or not.

 

I believe you when you say that the infantile crap went out as far as you're concerned.

But from where members sit, it does look to some as though not everyone on the news team shares your view.

 

That's not an attack btw, it's just stating what I see.

From the perspective of the average poster (who, to be honest, might never go to TFormers.com), it sends the message that their contributions aren't as important or don't matter at all. And really, everyone wants to contribute and help the site out; that's why people post news here in the first place. So I think it might be better to be less defensive about it. We're all on the same side here.

And your opinion is appreciated. However, I said this before: if I see it here, I post it with the credit. I give credit where it's due because that's how I work.

 

From now on, I'll post front-paged and credited just to let you guys know that you guys get the credit you deserve. So we will stop this crazy confusion and endless circle debate and get on with talking about what we're here for.

It's about time that Bumblebee got a new look, he hasn't had any remakes and rebirths at all.  There hasn't been a new Bumblebee since the repainted G2 version in the early 90s, so this new Bumblebee is most welcome.

He makes me think of Armada Hot Shot a little.  If I can, I'll be buying as many of this Neo G1 as possible once they're released.  It would be a waste of time waiting for Hasbro Europe to release them here, they'll probably only release a few and in very few shops that are willing to stock them.
