Why couldn't they compromise a bit and give megs a mobile howitzer mode?that'd sidestep both the silly size-changing issue and the toy gun safety laws,while remaining true to the character's original altmode as well as his more recent militaristic tank modes.

 

Poor Megs..he's an afterthought compared to Prime and less popular than Starscream among fans.He deserves better.

i stopped reading after page 8. jeezus christ people. if i were hasbro id say to hell with collectors. theres no way to make you people happy. even when theyre required by law to make gun toys like this. its a wonder why they even tried. give them a friggen break. i for one love the toy. i might buy two to paint one, i just think he needs red instead of purple, but its not like i cant live with it.

 

only one im not crazy about is the classics prime. hes still nice though. the one im omfg'ing about is ss and mostly... hotrod. hotrod... omg... soooo nice..

the real crime is that astrotrain is being released in reissue colors and not show acurate colors...

I think Astrotrain shows a nice balance between original cartoon colours and reissue colours. I mean, kids these days look at a space shuttle and expect it to be white.

No, You aren't the only one.... Who cares! weither or not Megatron looks like a snub nose version of the SPD Enforcer weapon... Yes the colors are stupid, but that's what paint is for....

This toy line is worth full collection....

And as far as Megatron goes, I think I'll buy two.

I can understand the new mold appearence... but why Green?!

Still, If I had the money I'd buy him anyway, or atleast hold out a couple months for a repaint.

 

edit: Well. In the last, oh, hour or so, Megatron has grown on me.

He doesn't have a tigger-crotch.  He's not a goofy dragon, hydra thing.  He's not a crazy tank with an obscene cannon. He's not a freaky car that also transforms into a jet, or whatever that is. This is the first Megatron that I like since Beast Wars.
