I remember reading over at the 2005 boards that whoever was in charge considered renaming some of the characters to give them more of a "robotic" feel--the examples they gave were Bulldozer for Rhinox and Tanktrap for Rattrap. This leads me to believe that Rhinox will be Landmine and Rattrap will probably be Scattorshot (the small version).

Why would BW pre beast bodies be the same color as the beast forms they didn know they were gonna be using?

Maybe they changed their minds. I think Ransack fits Rattrap's character better than Scattorshot anyway.

But the head doesn't exactly say Rattrap to me. Now he has a nice little cap to cover his brainy bits... it must've been knocked off in the crash-landing on earth.

Munky arms aside...it does work...has the Prime Guns just needs to somewho get swords on him..

I'm sorry but this is absolutely hideous. Just because Primal was a gorilla in beast wars doesn't mean his pre-earth mode needs to be one of the ugliest molds in the Cybertron line (soley for the gorilla arms). The head looks sloppy too, and far too small.

The head is small because it has to be, there's not that much space there for it to hide in the alt mode. Have a look at how small Crumplezone's head is. The gorilla arms I'm ambivalent about, but the thing I'm really liking this mold for is the fact he has his shoulder cannons still.
