Botcon Exclusive Optimus Primal PIC!

Recommended Posts

I think Jetfire is a sure fire Rhinox, but I doubt they'd have 2 figs that large in the set.

On the survey last year they asked about sizes of figures in the set. FP specified an option of the set consisting of 1 basic, 2 deluxes, and 2 Megas/Voyagers/Ultras. I don't think 2 large figures is a limit.

but.....

Jetfire for Rhinox? :wtf

I would guess Rhinox as Landmine, Longrack/Hoist as Dinobot, and Override as Cheetor, but hope for CD Scattershot as Dinobot and Hot Shot as Cheetor

I'm so psychic, it's scary

Primal must be Crumplezone because of his Ape like features. Ha, this is funny. Sad funny.

i didnt like the crumplezone molds...but thats not bad

know what? this actually makes so much more sense to me than crumplezone.  :schin

I hope the electronics will stay in. Looks good to me.

How do you get that figure now? Is it possible to buy one if you're not going?

Looks like I'm going to have to start saving my money now if I ever want to get a set...

Primal looks beautiful, the best choice for the mold and the paint detailing (especially in vehicle mode) is great!

Hope we get a Dirt Boss mold in the set somewhere (Dinobot would be a good choice)

OK, anyone who is going with the Primus package, I'll give you the extra $129 to buy another set in the little bags. I WANT THIS FIGURE.

I'm sorry but this is absolutely hideous. Just because Primal was a gorilla in beast wars doesn't mean his pre-earth mode needs to be one of the ugliest molds in the Cybertron line (soley for the gorilla arms). The head looks sloppy too, and far too small.

Just my opinion though.

How much do you wanna bet the sculpted Dcon symbol is still on the other side of he cyberkey?

I remember reading over at the 2005 boards that whoever was in charge considered renaming some of the characters to give them more of a "robotic" feel--the examples they gave were Bulldozer for Rhinox and Tanktrap for Rattrap. This leads me to believe that Rhinox will be Landmine and Rattrap will probably be Scattorshot (the small version).
