I cant afford this but I hope the trailer can fit BTs and Alts and has Roller in there.

A transforming trailer won't be enough for me. It'll need to have electronics to justify the price. RC Roller! :D

I believe I was told this is the Updated version so I would that that is the one that is showing up on the other side of the world.

if you mean the UK/euro release its the same  :redface bar maybe a few battle damage details missing or just arnt as dark i know i got one the other day.

 

to be fair it bugs me how takara rerelased this guy when some poeple hae paid an insane amout for him over ebay but 1 im not one of them (got MP back when he was released and 2 if you missed out or arnt a collector its a gr8 chance to get one

Im going out on a limb here, bu if they are re-releasing convoy with a trailer, possibley a transformable one, then perhaps they will later down the road re-release magnus with a transformable trailer as well...... SO QUIT BITCHIN!!

You would be very surprised how many people NOT in the fandom want this toy as well. I have one in the front window of my store and I get at least 5 people a week who ask about this toy and want to buy itl.

 

Course now they will have many things they can chose from.

 

September is a great time to have this come out as well. Gaurenteed that Girlfriends who have money will be getting this one over the Starscream because they know the figure more so than they do the screamer. Christmas IS just around the corner!

 

With MP-04, MP-01 and MP-03 all available around the same time....BTW, I have information that Diamond is also offering the 20th Prime again in this months Previews. That means a domestic release is also available through your local comic shops. I believe I was told this is the Updated version so I would that that is the one that is showing up on the other side of the world.

I would think that having a reissue of MP-01 and MP-04 released at around the same time is a bit excessive. It might be better to spread it out a bit more... release the reissue a few months before MP-04. Would that be good for the market, though?

C'mon, relasing it so near MP Screamer is stupid, we all know everyones gonna go for him first. There's not much point really (especialy if MP4 is more pricey than MP3)

Yep, the timing sucks, plus the price tag is too much for anyone but collectors to want to pay. The obvious problem w/ that is that any serious collector has had MP-01 for 2 yrs+ and unless they are an absolutely die-hard collector, isn't willing to shell out another $160 for essentially the same damn thing. Plus, you add in the MP SS factor and they probably do have a shelf warmer on their hands.

I better still get my MP-01 when it its released in june they say granted im still getting MP04 too though...
