Biggest PITA to transform?

Recommended Posts

Out of ALL of your transformer collecting, what transformer have you found to be the most difficult, or annoying, to transform?

Out of all the ones I own myself, up until tonight I would have said without question it was 20th Anniversary Prime.

Like I said, until tonight.

I scored an Energon Mirage tonight (along with Landmine.......sorry I ever doubted anyone about him. Great toy. Will pick up another for repainting......and Insecticon. Saw Arcee too, but she's just not doing it for me.), and Jeebus Tapdancing Christ, it's one pain in the ass to transform! Don't get me wrong, Mirage is a GREAT toy.

But man, they could have made the transformation less of a pain, and the instructions a bit better.

And to those who have him.....his front cannons (in the alt mode), do they actually point DOWNWARD when sprung up out of the hull? If you look at the box art, they are more or less paralell with the hull. No biggie for me, just wondering.

Well, like most people, Alternator Smokescreen is really hard, especially the arms. Optimal Optimus is another one, I still dont think I'm changing him into tank mode right. All in all, I usually get the transformation perfected after the first time I play with them.

So yeah, Alt. Smokescreen, just putting his arms back into car mode.

Mirage rocks...wish I had him...going to wait two paychecks to get him...I don't even think he has made it to the Dayton Area Yet, which is wierd since we usually get stuff hella early. But I am thinking the stock boys and girls are enjoying the weather instead of stocking toys.... don't blame them...

Considering that Only Meijer has had Arcee around here...

I would have to say the biggest PITA is Alternator Smokescreen I can't ever seem to get his feet right

I was jokingly going to say Micromaster Roadhandler

Or better yet Action Master Rad, I still have yet to figure out how to transform him

;-)

I actually think the Alts and MP are easy.. they "make sense" to me, logically, for some reason. The two I have the most problems with are RiD Sideburn.. god, took me about 40 minutes to get him from car to robot back to car the first time I got him, and TM2 Frickin Sonar. It's so much easier to just pop his legs off, transform the rest of him, and then pop them back on than to do him right... :nuts

I gotta go with RID Sideburn.

The basic transformation isn't that bad, it's just getting all the other stuff (like the roof and front bumper) out of the way first. :grr

It's not so much hard as almost enough of a pain that you want to throw it sometimes...

heh ... I almost did a few times

Sonar the bat can be a pain but I like that it is such a small tformer; the legs are fun!

Speaking of legs I guess I have to join the club of Altinator Smokscreen's legs suck.

It is not that the legs are that bad it is that if the transformation is not done right you might brake a piece of the toy. The altinator plastic is too damn brittle.

As far as the arms there is an easy simple way to transform those arms.

I wish I can explain how I do it. It really is easy.
