When did Prime actually *use* the trailer?

Recommended Posts

All the talk of it being dissapointing that Neo G1 isn't getting his trailer made me realize that I never saw him using it in base mode in the cartoons.

Does anyone have any specific episode numbers they could think of where Prime or any of the other guys use it as a base? I for the life of me can't think of one.

.... maybe Prime doesn't need a trailer...?

you happen to remember what episode that was?

hmmmm i think he might have used the repair station in season one, just dont' quote me, although i know for a fact he used roller... oh yea he used it, as grimlock said in the ep where megs took over the autobots.  if i think/see (kuz i'm watching the dvd's) of any other times i'll let ya know

Don't know the title, but the only time I can remember was an eps in which the Autobots were turned to evil. This was reversed by attaching some kind of gizmo to the autobot after the evil energy was purged and they became good again.

Prime was on an airport (I think) and seeing what happened, transformed to get his trailer and transformed back. The trailer became the battle base with roller rolling around. They now had to shoot all three parts to get him right and it was BB who managed to get the partly reversed Prime (Roller and Battlebase were purged) to be good again.

the writers just weren't creative enough to find decent uses for the trailer. i guess they thought that it was good enough that the autobots had the Ark to use as a base.

Hm... I'll have to check the S2 DVD's. Thanks for the info.

However, Buddykiller. I don't really equate Roller to be part of the base. In my eyes he's his own independent being, even though he's under the direction of Prime.

I believe MTMTE part III included a scene with prime using his trailer.

Prime called his trailer over, it opened up and started firing at the decepticons.  Megatron took a shot at it and blew some of the trailer's weaponry up.

This is also the episode where we hear ravage speak! (prefer the Russian accent he had in Beast Wars) :wave
