I agree with you, but the thing is saying that G1 prime was never a power master thus voiding his super mode is ignorant

No he didn't. Your confusing Optimus Prime with God Ginrai. Since Masterforce never came out in America, they named the toy Powermaster Prime. But its EXACTLY the same. Ginrai had a super mode. Prime didn't need one. I'm tired of all these rubbish gimmicks

The toy was called optimusprime, in the commericals he was called optimus prime, and in the FRELLING COMICS HE WAS OPTIMUS PRIME!

 

Ginrai is convoy that has sliding fists and apex armor, prime doesn't have either of these.  Their characters are very different, and are in seperate universes.  MEANING THEIR NOT THE SAME CHARACTER.

They just renamed him, probably because they were confused as to the resemblance, since the Ginrai transector was, in the jap continuity, originally meant to house a ressurected Prime. And even when Prime got brought back as Star Convoy, he didn't have a super mode

You do know that G1 Power Master prime is been in several forms of cannon.  Just because he doesn't have a cartoon doesn't mean anything.

To start with you bunch of hackling noobs, Optimus's supermode shouldn't be much of a big deal since most of the primes since RID all the way to Cybertron/Galaxy Force had supermodes! Optimus basically uses a supermode for extra armor and firepower, and usually uses it against very deadly enemies since in regular robot mode obviously he does not have as much armor nor as much guns. I personally have no offense against Optimus's supermode, nor do I think that he does not need a SM. Look at facts. Optimus is getting old, he cannot be fighting with his fists and legs like when he was younger back in G1. LOOK AT CANON FACTS! His supermode makes him stronger plus taller and of course he looks much better in supermode.

I don't have a problem with supermodes at all.

one thing could have made the final episode of GF a million times worse: when Galaxy Convoy went off to explore the universe, he could have left the Matrix with Koby for safe keeping...
