To start with Optimus Prime needs the super modes for extra armor, and strength and weapons. Optimus Prime is getting old, how can you expect him to become even stronger? Yes I agree that Prime should start using the "Super-Mode" less, but really I think that Optimus looks really cool with his SM. I did not see the end of Energon, nor have I seen the end of Cybertron (not yet anyway). Optimus really wants to defeat Galvatron and is willing to do so at all means, he really dosen't care if he uses a damn supermode or not He JUSTS wants to defeat Galvatron! Besides, you are making such a big friggin deal over a show for us younger people (older kids and teens). We really can careless, and I don't think that the Primes are getting weaker. But I do hope that the next Prime in the next series is much stronger than the one now.

Proud to say I'm in the GF camp. Whatever I saw of Cybertron was on Hasbro's site and I think I watched as far as the episode where they finally win the Speedia cup.

 

Both shows IMO definitely have there advantages/disadvantages. Cybertron more so than GF. Personally I think Hasbro's went altogether wrong when they forced the A/E continuity into it. That and casting everyone with a specific nationality didn't help either. From what I understand a lot of stuff throughout gets cut out for whatever reason so all that considered GF is definitely the way to go. :thumb

 

To comment on the last ep. It was cute, fun and enjoyable. It was really nice to see a propper ending for a change that does a decent job of tying everything off. Unlike the WTF ending to Superlink. I liked Superlink but that ending made me want to scream. :tdown Also really liked the transforming stoplight, and the interview bits were pretty funny. :thumb
