hasbro added the whole armada/energon thing.  the ending montage and bud's mini documentary thing was in galaxy force, however, it was alot better (and longer i beleive) so was the ending.  flame convoy did become erm nicer?  but he didn't go total wuss bag (although everybody was bawling when galaxy convoy left).

 

to tell ya the truth i thought for sure hasbro was going to completely cut the whole documentary thing completly out because it's VERY animeish.

 

i also noticed that hasbro never named signal lancer... guess that means no toy damnitt (although it was a slim chance i still had hope). 

What's stupid about the ending, Scourge obviously being an honarable fighter, saw the error of his ways and changed to be a better leader for his planet. Blame Japan for the interveiw crap and I thought seeing Kicker and the Armada bunch was very refreshing. The dialogue was'nt as moving as GF but a good ending none the less.

The ending wasn't half bad. I kind of enjoyed seeing the characters from the past two series in there. Overall, I think it was a good show. I also enjoyed the whole series though, so maybe I'm biased.

You ever US TV? There's a One Trillion Reality shows on in the US that I can compare the documentary part too. I thought that's what they were going for myself.

 

To be honest, all the bad guys going good has been pissing me off for a while now. Back in G1, Megs had a team, an army that did his every bidding and would never help the Autobots or disobey his orders. Of course you had your Starscreams, the Insecticons and your Swindles but ever since BW came out, Meg's soldiers haven't respected him as much. In Cybertron it even seems like he cares about his soldiers more than he admits to it. Honestly and my little brother said this too, it seems like Starscream was like a son to him. He would have never destroyed Starscream unchallenge. He even allowed him to smart mouth and dismiss himself. The old Megs would have shot him and got Laserbeak to throw him into his quarters.

I posted this same comment in the Advent Children thread too. Having seen the Japanese version first, It's really really hard to except english voices coming out of their mouths. Because of this I wont be spoiling myself to any unenglish dubbed shows if they have an english dubbed version coming out. I really think this is most peoples problem. I could be wrong though.

Hello...Hasbro threw in extra scenes cause they wanted to sell more toys. And they screwed it up. What was Energon Hot Shot doing there??? It was a stupid ending to a show that had rapidly become stupid....ARRRGGH and I can't stand most of those stupid accents

 

also I'm sick to death of Prime being so weak. The recent Megatron's haven't been stronger then earlier ones, Primes just been a wimp who never fights unless he powers up. And those stupid repaint Galvatron's. Try designing actual reformats you idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It should have been Ironhide floating behind Kicker if they wanted to connect things. They could have also showed them like there were in another demension. They did demension warp. They could have come from the same Galaxy as Gigansian since they showed the Armada Minicons as ancients.

yanno, i never thought about that angle, regaurdless i enjoyed it, esp given the high emotions and seriousness of the last two eps of galaxy force.  it just felt realy anime-ish/japanese i guess it was the manorisms and such.

hmmm in GF megs didn't give a Blot about anybody but himself and said countless times that subordinates are very expendable.  matter of fact, he was constantly mocking galaxy convoy because of the way he treated his subordinates with respect.  as far as starscream goes, i got the feeling that he never realy trusted starscream and was constantly warey of him.  sure he got pissed off when starscream betrayed him, but thats the only emotion he ever showed toward starscream.  although i do agree with you that i'd like to see some more evil decepticons, although i do enjoy the humor contained in GF at the decepticons expense, i kinda miss the whole "Powerglide the autobots" feeling.

trust me, do yourself a favor and watch galaxy force.  i'm amazed at how different the two shows are and although i havn't watched cybertron fully, what i have seen of it is totaly alien to what i grew accustomed to with GF.
