Funny thing is BTs aren't always fully painted either. I own Red Meister and Hound and only the diecast parts are painted. Smokescreen on the other hand is fully painted :drool

I don' t like TF's with "hollow" legs, and Alt Prime happens to be one of them... sigh, I would think that advanced lines like Alts will not have a hollow leg figure (think GF skidz~), but I guess it is inevitable...

They tend not to paint the plastic BT parts if the finish is metallic.

 

For example:  with the Corvette - the yellow guy is fully painted, but on the blue one it's only the diecast parts.

Perhaps I should re-phrase that on the paintwork, more of a beef on the quality of the plastic, I just get really annoyed at plastic that ends up with a bit more daylight passing thru it that I'd like.

 

In answer to paintwork in total, I now have my airbrush : I'm going to war.

absolutely - i am so doing that when i get my Alt-Prime

i just got my prime at target- don't know if anyone who has him found him on a shelf or just got him online, but if i can find one, they should be popping up everywhere soon.

 

i'm definitely doing the doors thing to mine, the tall shoulders and doors flopped to his sides suck.

wow... the more I hear about this toy, the less I want him
