Alt. Prime Deserves Not To Suck (so I did this)

So, can anyone take a pic of Prime with his legs extended properly next to another Alt?

He's about as tall as the Subarus.  Here's a picture, but you can't compare to them that well, because Prowl (was alert) in crouching a bit.

awesome work everyone

I just got my Alt Prime I really want to do this mod.

However - i am afraid my KB'ing skills are craptacular and i have no tools.

The thing with the chest -still confuses me.  And I am unclear - do i have to buy a Dirtboss to make it work?

Also my Prime's knees are really really loose. i dont see an easy way to get in there and beef up the joint. Any suggestions?

extra info:

Silver grilles are not an available option for SRT/10 Dodge Rams. They come colour-keyed to the truck. So if you put a chrome grille, it will no longer be an exact SRT/10 Ram.

You don't have to buy an Energon Dirtboss, but do have to cut out a piece of plastic that will attach the front of the car to the chest.  A lot of things could be used.  STPrime used a screw/peg to attach it, so you can try his way as well.  I think it's easier.

The knees on mine aren't *too* loose, but are in danger of being a problem if they get any worse.  You can open them up to fix that though.  Take apart the lower legs first and remove the upper legs from them.  You'll now be able to get at a screw on each leg, but still have to pop out some pins higher up on the thigh.  A bit of paint in the joint or a little bit of clear nail polish should be good to tighten it up.

Well guys, stay tuned to this thread if you want to make your own Alt Prime modified!  I'm working right now with Minion and STPrime to make a step by step guide to modifying your Alt Prime that's going to a comprehensive guide to both of their work and anything else that can be added.  :)

I finally got my Prime and a camera, so here's some shots of mine. I don't really like that bumper/grill chest mod, so I skipped it, but I love how the rest came out. The legs don't have to be completley blue, guys.
