See I count Star Saber. I think everyone has a different standard. I count Primals but not Magnuses. I was torn on Star Saber but I decided the head mold + being the leader counted.

 

I go by the Toy molds too. That is why I see Magnus as a Convoy / Prime. Since Diaclone they been sharing the same forms, so I am down with the UM groove.

To Prime or not to Prime?

 

Orion Pax: Prime. I Loved that episode as a kid. Great piece of Prime lore. I'd love someone to make an Optronix.

 

Optimus Minor: Bah, I hate Optimus Minor, cuz he keeps sneaking into Prime shots and (in my opinion) does not belong.

 

Thunderclash: I'm ashamed to say this but despite the name ringing a bell I can't place that character. Could some one remind me?

 

Lio Convoy Jr.: I'm allways torn on him. At the moment he is not in the Prime collection. I might feel differently if I ever see BW2. I lack the context to count him.

 

I don't count them as "Primes" but I do keep a few Scourges in the cabinate cuz the look cool. Specificaly the Lazer Prime Scourge and his mini version. They're just too cool not to have in there.

I believe that MOT has the black Lio Junior on ebay right now.

nothing wrong with getting your primes afa'd. if thats what you like, thats what you like. me personally am still going to send my stuff to afa, but not to get graded, just to get them custom fitted for the openable cases, so i can take them out time from time.

 

 

Well, i have a mib collection already and since i was working on a MISB collection why not AFA them???

The problem with me is i want everything minty. So i buy 2 of almost everything. 1 for display and the other for misb.

The AFA site says that the grading price is dependant upon the value of the toy, unlike other grading services (PSA, Beckett, etc) which use a flat rate. What is the price you usually pay on average to get something graded? Or are you buying pre-graded items?

For my Gold wheel prime i paid almost 200 bucks to get it graded.

As you all know i collect only Primes/primals.

 

Most of you dont know is that i collect AFA, MISB/MIB, AND Loose all together .

 

So i have to buy almost 2 or 3 of each items which most people think im crazy.

 

But i love my AFA, I love my MISB/MIB and i love my loose collection so i collect them all!!! :)

BTW if you dont see it, trust me 99% chance I have it. Still opening up Primes as i go though my storage.
