Alternators Seekers, all 7 of 'em

Recommended Posts

This is it guys!  I have been working (off an on, obviously, as you guys have seen more projects than this one from me in the last year) on this project for the last year.  I finished Screamer Monday, April 10th.  I had been showing this single image to just a handful of people I IM and I was going to wait and post a thread when I shot a full gallery of all of them.  However, I have been sick since Tues 11th and I forgot to take the image down.  *snickers* well Plowking checked out my work this weekend and found the image and commented on my work in his "what did you do before TF bashes" thread, so I guess now is as good of a time as any to unveil my work.  So 1 year and a few too many TF Scoobies later, here they are, the Alternators Seekers!

I incorporated the Subaru logo in both Sunstorm and Dirge (you can't see my design because of the nature of the group shot  :tfsad ).

I was going to make ALL of the Seekers (even the others from the MtMtE background shots), but decided against it because I want to move on to other bashes.  Your number does tempt me though  :tftongue

Thanks for all of the warm comments guys!  I will have more pictures in the future, but with me being sick (middle and inner ear infections in both ears) and finishing up school for the semester, I don't know when I can get to it.  But pics of each are coming!

The arm cannons are scratchbuilt by yours truly.  If you've ever gotten a liquid soap dispenser, there is a tab on the neck of the dispenser nozzle.  I used that and some old mechanical pencils for the arm cannons.  I also used the tabs that the twist-ties wrap around from TF toys for the vents (I just cut them into the shape I wanted). I also used a common nail for the mount (which fits perfectly in the holes on each arm to mount the engine in car mode.  I then photo referenced the G1 seekers toys and painted them accordingly. :tfgrin

Here is a pic of them, enjoy:

The part that was funny was everytime I'd be in class taking an exam or whatever, I'd get a mechanical pencil that would run out and I'd be overjoyed.

"Alright, now Sunstorm gets arm cannons!"  :tftongue
