Well, I wanted a red sports car, which is why Thrust is red, not maroon.  With these guys I'm going for a car gang look and feel.

I made each character with a unique car deco and color scheme.  I'm not looking to totally recycle G1 with my customs, rather wanting to have my customs with deep roots in G1.  I don't see the need to give them coneheads for instance.  Except for minor paint details/touchups, I'm finished with these guys. 

 

I am wanting to make a mount for the arm cannons in alt mode though . . .

I have taken more group shot photos.  Single photos and Alt mode photos (group and single shots) are on the way!
