BM rocks the people who can't stand it and have to nit-pick every gawddang detail to prove their Mother fing points cause t these:

1. The death of Transtech.  You b!7ched at BM so much hasbro didn't even make the next serie which would have had gone back to vechile modes, instead we got armada.  Which if you think is better than BM YOU HAVE NO TASTE AND WANT TO SEE CR@P!.

actually, we got RiD.  and that was a pretty decent series.  RiD was G1 with some coherance between episodes.

6.  Why we didn't get that megs remold from the OTFCC.

7. Why we didn't get roadbuster from the OTFCC.

we didn't get these because 3H tanked, which had nothing to do with the fans, and everything to do with their business plan.

*cough*6&7werejokes*cough*

RID is consider a filler seires so I didn't count it.  Armada is what really replaced TT.

Correct, RiD was just to buy development time for Armada.

Alot of kids watch DBZ. But it aint a kids show, not unless kids are supposed to see people get their heads blown off.

Yes kids watch it, which is why the last 3 are so kiddy. BW wasn't kiddy. It was mad, funny, violent etc but not kiddie. You can make a show that appeals to both. Not the hardest thing in the world :wtf

Actually the US version of DBZ is a kid show...

Dragon Ball Z was marketed to appeal to a wide range of viewers from all ages, and contains crude humor and occasional excesses of violence which are commonly seen as inappropriate for younger audiences by American standards. When it was marketed in the US, the distribution company FUNimation alongside with Saban decided to initially focus exclusively on the young children's market, because the anime market was still small compared to the much larger children's cartoon market. The series underwent many changes, with the removal of nudity and partial nudity, references to sex, alcohol, and smoking. For example, FUNimation digitally removed the cigarette from one character's mouth, and digitally pasted the word ROOT above a sign that said BEER to make it say "ROOT BEER." Clear glasses with beer were recolored blue to create frothy mugs of water. Many violent scenes were left on the cutting room floor and others had wounds digitally removed or blood re-colored as spit. Dead bodies lingering on the battlefield during ongoing fights were not shown, implying they were taken away or vaporized altogether. The dialogue was changed, removing references to Heaven, Hell, God, and death. The most infamous dialogue edits would be the characters saying "I will send you to another dimension," rather than "I will kill you" (or, as said in the manga, "I will send you to Hell"), and another where after a villain destroys a helicopter, one of the characters exclaims "It's okay, I can see their parachutes!" when in the original version the crew died with the vehicle.

you ever seen dbz uncut. Range of ages my arse. I don't think nudity, swaering, flipping people off, or sticking your hand though ssomeones stomach as blood flys every where is considered 'for all ages'

Aso, if RiD is just a filler, its a pretty good one, better then Aramada

DBZ uncut is in responce to the popularity of the watered down kid's version among older viewers. The kid's version was the only version on US TV for several years.

What the Japanese feel is all ages friendly and what the US feels is all ages friendly are two very different things.

Hell the original version of Sailor Moon has nudity and lesbian relationships in it.  Both of which were cut when it moved to the US.

Violence and nudity aren't nearly as big a deal over there.  Same reason why there is cussing in the Japanese versions of most TF shows.  Its not something that bothers them.  Kids are taught that its entertainment and not something to mimick.  So apparently both the average parent and the government over there has no problem with them seeing it.

Also, haven't seen BM since it was on the air way back when, but it honestly didn't catch my attention then.  When it aired I was 17, so wasn't so much into TFs in generaly anymore.  But from what I remember of the, I saw maybe three episodes and they really felt very formulatic.  I'd missed BW so didn't have a reference on the characters, but the show jsut had a depressed undertow, to serious, and though the dialouge was decent the plots of the three eps I saw all felt the same, no real progression in them.  Since I've gotten back into TFs I've been looking at the figures from then as well.  And the BM figures aren't much to look at either.

Of course its been a long time since I've seen them so who knows.  I jsut finished watching BW, so I'll probably be picking up BM soon to check out for the first time in its complete run.

Sailor moon had nudity, and lesbians...mental note, find and watch subs....

It should be noted many animes released for kids here were originally meant for tenn/adult audiences. Probably done casue they thought no one else was interested. Thank God they got over that phase...to an extent

where can I get dbz uncut?!?! does anyone have pics of this and sm uncut?

on the bm thing:

for those of you who Starscream over the little differences between bw and bm it cant possibly be worse for you than hasbro tying in cyb as a sequel to energon.

i like cyb and I like what little ive seen of bm, they only showed it on cable at the time of its release here and i didnt have cable.

Why is energon worse than armarda?

back to the original topic of this thread:

I miss having toys like g2, Im looking forward to cyb sw and repugnus.

I liked the predacon repaint of tm megs. the paint apps on the toy I got looked alot better than the version on the back of the box or what ive seen on the net, like the different pait schemes on brushguard and nemisis breaker.

Screw that, where can I get Sailor Moon uncut? I was never told about this "nudity" you speak of.
