Whoever hasnt been buying cybertron is silly - this has some of the best figures ever.

I am glad that SW is finally coming around - i should see him in a week or two!

 

Why is Evac such a Shelfwarmer?!?! Hes sooooo awsome!!!

I think he's a shelfwarmer because he fell into the trap that all shelfwarmers do: He was packed with himself.

 

There appears to have been a run with Mudflap + Evac, Leobreaker + Evac, and Evac by himself (Voyager and larger are shipped in 2-packs).. Thus, Evac was in way oversupply... so.. yeah.

:clap Now there are two Cybertron figures that I am happy to hunt for (the other being Wing Saber).

 

I haven't really had to hunt for a figure in awhile as I have mainly been buying G1 and whatever Cybertron I happen to find that looks good.

 

It will be nice to get that rush that Buddykiller was talking about when I find these two.

To me the hunt is half the fun. After catching this news yesterday I headed out for a few stores but unfortunately I came up empty.

 

I've only seen Wing Saber once so far, which I bought of course, and haven't seen him since. I have seen one other Sky Shadow though.

 

The bad thing is most stores around me seem to be pretty full of voyagers so until they sell, I probably won't see anything new at those stores for awhile and the stores that were getting low on them were the farther, more out of the way stores that I usually can only get to once a week or so.

 

So hopefully by next weekend I'll find Soundwave...but I'm not holding my breath.

Awesome. I must start looking..but with all the Mudflaps and Leobreakers on the shelves, that might not happen for awhile.

Yeah, I had the same thing happen. There are entirely too many Mudflaps and CD Red alerts in all of the stores around here to be getting in any SW or WS (I check 3 each of Wal-Mart and Target and they all have them overstocked).

 

I will just have to keep checking. Oh, and I just thought of another Wal-Mart and Target I can check...

Yeah, I saw that one at Wal*Mart.

So, is the Cybertron version as floppy as the Galaxy Force version?

Voyagers are packed four to a case and Ultras are three to a case.  Leaders and Supremes are two to a case, though.

So, I guess I should be seeing him around July/August. I have yet to hear news of CD Scattorshort surfacing in Canada.

 

As for Mudflap, leobreaker, and Evac. All fantastic toys. I bought all three the first time I saw them. In the past it's always been grab them on sight or there good as gone so you can imagine my annoyance when I saw all three still warming shelves at TRU about a month ago. Great to see distribution stepped up a notch but now there are simply to many. Same as with CD Red alert, and the Armada repaints. Here's hoping newer ones are finally in supply this following weekend when I head out again.

 

As for the thrill of the hunt. I totally agree. Nothings more thrilling then finally seeing a new TF be it Cybertron or Alt for the first time and buying it. Finding one lone Crosswise in a mass of Armada retools was pure joygasm. :clap 

Well I just got back from a few places. I think Super Walmart might have had him cuz I saw Excellion, Overide GTS, Sky Shdow, and some scouts that appeared to be from the newest wave, but no WS or SW. When I went to Target, I did a price check on one of the Voyager classes and the scanner said that there were some in the back. I asked an employee to look back there for me. He said they usually get a three cases and and that he's not allowed to open up cases to look for rare items and the Voyagers were priced at $15 too... so that kind of sucked. I didn't have a problem with someone looking in the back before when I got Alt. Track (red box) & Uni. Nemesis Prime. Oh well, I'll eventually be able to find him in plenty in a month or 2.
