So apparently the Takara version is sold out all over the place, even on eBay.  Oh well...

Cool. This is the first time I've seen the back of his head and from the pic it almost looks like another face could be there. Any way...Sweetness  :thumb

You did a damn nice job on that repaint, it's hard to tell that isn't a standard release.  :thumb

Another outstanding paint job!  :clap

What kind of paint did you use?

Patriotic Blue Krylon Fusion (I think that's what the color was called) was my best friend for this project.  :thumb  Oh, and the eyes/head/blade/cockpit were hand-painted with Tamiya Acrylic Clear Blue (which, unfortunately, comes out a tad too dark and slightly purple-y due to the plastic being originally transparent red).

Masking the damn parts (like those colored sections on the arms/legs) was insane!  If repainting/kitbashing was an RPG, my "Masking" job/skill/stats would have leveled up by like 1000 levels! :P

That looks pretty good. From the pics, I thought you just blacked all the windows and sword out.

What's with the earth key?

What's with the earth key?

Hahahahaa!  I didn't realize it until you mentioned it!

I got mixed up...  I bought Scrapmetal and Lugnutz on the same day, so the pair of Force Chips were together...  I guess I was thinking too much of Blue Scrapmetal, and grabbed the blue Earth one instead of the generic Decepticon one...    :tflaugh

Awesome, it looks to much like the Galaxy force one, now if only Hasbro would follow your shining example, btw are you doing the yelow one too.
