Awesome, it looks to much like the Galaxy force one, now if only Hasbro would follow your shining example, btw are you doing the yelow one too.

I might, if I can nab another Scrapmetal.

But painting the eyes/blade/cockpit in clear yellow will get me a clear orange... :S

beings I have tried, how the HELL did you get those damned pins out.  (mainly the one holding the gun to the shoulder piece.)  For the yello scrap metal I am just remolding the cockpit and eyes in yellow and using yellow styrene for the sword.

Yeah, the pin holding the gun to the shoulder assembly was a pain in the ass to get out, but all pins were taken out just by tapping/hammering with a pin (or in my case, a broken drill bit from an electric drill).

If I remember correctly, I hammered that pin outwards; ie, if the gun's on Scrapmetal's right shoulder as in my pictures, I tapped the pin from the side closer to his head, and it came out on the outer side of the gun...

You could atleast paint the sword solid yellow, could do the same with the eyes

very cool im guessing you could fool us all into thinking thier releasing it with those picks

Nice work on this, that first shot makes me wonder yet again if it would have just KILLED Hasbro to give us all three color versions at once.  Pretty disappointing, IMO when we already know they like doing repaints a lot and a lot of people wanted them.  I'm not usually one to bash Hasbro, but I think randomly packing the three colors would have worked just great.

The black translucent plastic works alright as a compromise to not being able to have the blue.

I don't think it's transparent.on the last shot you can see the eyes if the red one glowing, not so on the blue one.I think it's just painted solid black imo

I actually painted Tamiya Clear Blue over the usual translucent red eyes/blade, but it just comes up as a REALLY dark blue-purple.  If you hold the blade up to the light, you can see the light pass through it.  It's worse on the head, because I also painted the backside of the head too, and I had to paint 2 coats on the eyes and back of the head. (there was only 1 coat painted on the blade, hence why it's slightly more translucent than the eyes)
