I received this email today.  I completely forgot about the contest so forgot to submit my customs this year.  It's a pretty cool contest.  I entered last year.  Anyone here entered this year?

Categories and nominees are up and available for voting.  I'm very disappointed though that there were no transformers.  In fact, there isn't even a separate category for transformers like last year.  I don't know if it was lack of entrees or if they didn't feel transformers customs were worth it. I admit I didn't submit any this year because I forgot about it.  :tdown

Didn't even know about it.   :tfhuh

They probably cut the category because no one entered.  They don't advertise on the TF boards and the forums they do put info on don't have a lot (in any) TF customs.

I don't recall if Jaf won anything last year, but is there any real prizes to win or is it just bragging rights?  Didn't you get a Stikas or something, VP?

Oh well, next year.   :tfgrin

Unless we hold our own TF Custom of the Year Awards!

edit:  BTW, there are some FANTASTIC customs nominated this year!  Ronin by Darthleon :drool

You know, that's not a bad idea . . .

:pfx  That would deffinetly be a good idea

bad....bad VP for forgeting ;)

I concur...we should hold our own TRANSFORMERS Custom of the Year Award.  Have it take place annually.

I'd include TFans.com (my favorite customs board of course)

TFmaster.com, the Allspark, and TFW2005.com (the last two have either an Art Gallery, or a dedicated customs section...)

Seibertron and Transfandom both have kitbash sections as well.  Even TNI has a few members that customize TF.  I'd throw them in also.

If enough people are up for it, I say Why Not?

We'd just need to get it organized.

I'm not sure my work is good enough to enter !!

People who were nominated get small prizes like shockinis (which is what I got).  And yes, there were real prizes for the winners, I just don't remember what they are.
