Shia LaBeouf In Running For Transformers' Sam?

Recommended Posts

The Allspark originally reported this past weekend that Shia LaBeouf (Constantine) is in the running for the character Sam. Sam's character is described as a "teenage male, somewhat nerdy, but [is] ultimately heroic."  IGN Filmforce saw this report, did some digging, and found this: according to their "reliable sources," LaBeouf is indeed in the running to play this character. The report from the Allspark also included other human character role descriptions that are being cast in a Michael Bay-directed movie "Prime Directive."

I liked him in Holes.

I mean this is just rumors of rumors and doesnt mean anything - but i have no problems with him being in TF:TM!

i forget what he looks like.....wait never mind

so the main character might not be played by a big-name attention whore? that's cool :thumb it means more money in the budget for the special FX and that's all that matters. even the dumbest redneck will watch this movie if the special FX are bright and shiny enough.

I think there's still plenty of room for Will Smith.

Oh, wait.  He's doing Optimus' voice. :eplus

Oh man.. :tflaugh

Okay, any major human character that's not Spike, Sparkplug, or Buster is gonna be :tdown

i've no problems with the guy, at first i realy didn't take him seriously (and actor from disney child shows?), but after seeing him in a few flicks i kinda like him as an actor, so i've no probs with him being in the flick as long as the film centers around the TRANSFORMERS and not the humans.

I thought the main thing was a "boy and his car" type story..

I mean before the robots and such.

It's a film that centers around humans' perception of Transformers.
