Okay.  I've been reading both good and stuff about Mini-Cons.

People have been saying stuff about them ranging from great figs and and stuff to the right down ugly stuff.

My opinion is as follows.

Mini-Cons have developed so much since they were introduced into Armada as both characters and figures that I'm almost positive save for the G1 Classic and any revival of old themes and stuff, future lines will have Mini-Cons in them.

I also view them as the modern versions of the Micromasters, but not as chinsy IMO.  I mean, the Micromaster gestalts were pretty cool and stuff.  It's just that the majority of the individual Micromasters were kind of chinsy.

I personally like the Mini-Cons.  Both as characters and figures.  I especially like Cybertron Jolt, the only Mini-Con in the entire TF franchise to actually speak an a recognizable language and not in beeps and whistles that imitate R2-D2 and is obviously something like an audio version of binary code.

As for the figures themselves.  They're small enough that the ones I do have don't even take up that much shelf room.

My only problem is I haven't been able to pick up any of the Mini-Con vs. packs here since I can't seem to find any :tdown I love the little guys.

The next step, a Mini-Con gestalt...aside from the obvious one Perceptor.  I mean a gestalt like a 5-6 figure combiner team.  Sold in two sets.  Like one set would form the lower half, and the other set would form the upper half.  And maybe a 7th for the head.  And then to finish the gestalt, the parts like hands and feet are sold as in package parts, like the feet with the lower half, and the upper half comes with the hands and gun.

What's your opinion on these guys?

personally i like them and they have really been around since g1 as there has always been micro transformers acting as headmasters and the minicon function is just another of their functions beeing the same as a power master. thats my opinion though and how i see it all

Not a huge fan. I do like the jets, cars, and weapon alt mode ones. But then they gave us those useless keys...

I liked Mini cons until I became flooded with them.

Oddly enough i still love Micromasters. Their sheer simplicity is what makes them so great IMO.

i liked them, i realy like the ones with weapon alts but it doesn't matter.  i don't have any room right now to realy display them so they're all kinda hangin out on unicron till i can either build a display case or build another shelf.  it'll prolly e a shelf as i'm not the wood worksman and it's cheaper than buying plexiglass for a case (i can't afford to buy one, and glass isn't that safe), but i deffinatly have have love for the mini's, i'm looking to buy some of the vs packs once they go down in price a little bit (looking for a two pack of the cybertron mini teams now).

I like getting them with bigger figures.  I not really interested in 2 or 3 packs of them anymore, although I did buy a few during armada.

If they released a booster pack, I might buy one.

:schin what might a "booster pack" be like?

I like 'em.  They are pretty nice designed and inexpensive.

I never really cared for them. I do like Micromasters though.

:schin what might a "booster pack" be like?

something like the ones Takara released.  20 or 30 repaints of older molds like jolt / longarm / sparkplug / ect.
