Well, I saw that somebody made a topic on how old the G1 main show characters so I thought I'd make a Beasties age thread. Here are my guesses.

 

Maximals:

Optimus Primal: 42

Rhinox: 40

Dinobot: 34

Rattrap: 27

Cheetor: 23

Tigatron: 29

Airrazor: 28

 

Predacons:

Megatron: 47

Scorponok: 35

Inferno: 31

Blackarachnia: 29

Tarantulas: 29

Ravage: 30

Waspinator: 27

 

Transmetals/Fuzors:

Rampage: 30

Quickstrike: 33

Silverbolt: 29

no way is cheetor 23...they keep on refering to him as a kid...i would say he is about 16 when the wars start...

Cheetor: 75 years (the youngest Maximal)

Rhinox: 250

Rattrap: 200

Megatron: 285

Terrorsaur: 110  (youngest Predacon)

I always thought that even though Primal was the leader, Rhinox kind of gave the impression that he had some more experience than Primal, therefore I always pegged Rhinox as the oldest Maximal, and Optimus Primal was probably not too far off, but younger than Megatron definitely.

 

Cheetor was always the youngest, and Rattrap...well, if they have legal age limits to go to oil bars on Cybertron, he's clearly of age or older.  Dinobot seemed to be in his prime in a way.  Fit, ideal opportunist.  Tigertron and Air Razor both seemed to have just a natural age of being slightly older (kind of around Primal's age if not maybe a bit older) even for not having started life on Cybertron.  Silverbolt, well, he seemed to have a mix of age between Cheetor, Rattrap, Dinobot and Primal.  Kind of complicated.

 

I couldn't even begin to form any type of idea about the ages of the Predacons except that Megatron was the oldest and Waspinator might have been relatively young.

just like my cat is 8 years old in human years but middle aged in cat years.
