to be honest 1500 is cheap in terms of sculpture that size. the metroplex i'm working on will have a retail of at least £5000. i know that seems expensive, but in the modelmaking/sculpture profession thats a reasonable price, taking into account the time and money that goes into such a project. seeing as metroplex is gonna be a oneoff, that meen that we can't lower the cost to spread it over multiple items. the guy i'm working with on this project is a professional sculptor. he makes at least £1000 for sculptures 2ft tall.

however, don't think we're just making this as a way to make money, cos this is really a labour of love for us, a project that we've dreamed of making for years that we are investing a lot into. the plan is to hopefully be able to tour him around conventions, so that people can see him firsthand and hopefully appreciate what we will have acheived.

I'd prefer an improved version at the same size to a similar version at 3 times the size.

hum... that,s one project that i am considering ... but if you really want to see an mp-01 trailer and mp-02 trailer here are the real things....

so an mp fortress maximus would be no problem for me... hell it might just be illuminated as well !!!!

A well articulated and detailed Fort Max, the size of the original toy, would be enough for me.  I'd pay, maybe, $50 for such a toy.

Well to be honest guys I`ve muling over some rudimentary plans for some thing similar in my head for the last couple of month since I got my little Dino Rider figs. You see if I made Cerebros` head aka Spike out of a Dino Rider fig which is 3" tall and when made into a head would be roughly 1-1.5" high then Cerebros would need to have a body that was roughly 10.5" tall plus head master Spike which would be 12". So then if I made Cerebros able to transform into Fort Max`s head he`d be about 5" high in head mode. So Fort Max`s body would need to be 35" tall plus Cerebros in head mode which would be 40". So he`d be about 3.33' tall in bot mode and still be in scale with the Alternators since the Alternators are in scale with 3" human driver figures. Give Fort Max some garages for storing a few of the Alternators in alt mode. Maybe 2 garages in each arm and leg and one in the side as well. Give his base mode more of a race track look and give Cerebros another alt node which would be that of a racing signal light. Am I totally psycho or does this all add up to everyone else? The way I got the heights is that in general the average person/bot is approximately 8 heads high so starting with the smallest figure in the scale I want and working my way up from there I figured out the height of the full size figure with head then subtracting the height of the head to give me the height of the actual figure that would need to be made. As far as buying an MP Fort Max No I don`t think I would but building one now that sounds like fun. I think I just might try to make this.

Yes I can. However not quite as big as you`re thinking.

So you see if you make it based on a 3" figure for the Spike figure you`ll have a 3.3' tall Fortress Maximus and it`ll be in scale with the Alternators. I may begin on this sometime either in May or June. So really all you need to do is enlarge the original figure`s design by 1' or so. So are me and Omega Prime the only ones who think that this could even be a possibility?
