Why is Rebirth so hated?

Recommended Posts

TFs is, first and foremost, a kids' show. We can waste out our lives commenting on the social dynamics within shows like TFs, Thundercats and G.I. Joe . . . or we can enjoy them at the level they're meant to be - that of entertainment for young people.

I think there's a middle ground in there somewhere.... just because they're primarily written for kids doesn't necessarily mean that they're devoid of any meaning. But to be sure, you don't want to read too much into it.

*cough*raksha*cough*

Agreed. Kids are pretty smart and often the best way to sell them on something is to give them enough to sink their teeth into.

No, kids are retards.

I take it you don't have any.

I still don't get the hatred for Rebirth.  It's not quite the suckfest you people make it out to be.  It certainly scores higher (IMO) on the watchability scale than RiD and Armada.

Is it the Nebulons?  The lack of Dinobots?  No Munkky Prime?  What is it?

And please, no flaming.

I watched rebirth back in 2004, when all I knew was that the japanese continuity split off from this point. didn't know anything aobut headmasters. still haven't seen it actually.

UI was laughing my way through it. It was so bad, so rediculous... i could do nothing BUT laugh.

I do, and trust me, I'm saying this from experience - had the chance to work as a camp counsellor and you won't believe the stupidity kids have in their heads nowadays.

the phrase "kids nowadays" should be banned from usage unless you're like five hundred years old or something and can really speak to what society was like before you were around

Case Study:

-The success of the Pokemon franchise

Conclusion:

-the majority of kids are dumb.*

*and always have been BTW

Does anyone else detect the irony in this discussion? I mean, "Transformers"? Come on.

No.
