I couldn't imagine ever being a completist with any toy line... the odds that every figure is going to be awesome are just too low (read: impossible)

looks cool I like him  is he red alert's evil brother because he looks like red alert but diffrent color

Its kind of convenient that Cannonball comes out at about the same time as the new Pirates of the Caribean movie

You know if you had stated what you did about being a completist back when test shots of Alternator Jazz/Binaltech Meister were being released i would have strongly argued against you Madhammer.  But as soon as those test shots of Battle Ravage emerged... i knew that my days of being a completist in any line were dead and over. 

 

The only way i could ever imagine being a completist in any toy line now, is if that line only had one figure.

Cannonball is definitely a change of pace reguarding new repaints. The bones, and skulls look completely retarded but the paint scheme is nice, Love the black, and silver trim, and the gold doesn't look half bad. A welcome change from the dull blue on Red alert. Posed in bot mode though this figure will rock.

 

Soundwave seiously saddens me. Though I'll probably get one I would have much rather had Hasbro keep the defining paint aps and release Soundwave as an Ultra opposed to this halfassed Voyager.  :tfsad

 

I can tolerate what Hasbro did to Vector Prime but butchering Sondwaave is unforgivable. Also this marks the first time ever missing paint apps has actually bothered me. Seriously without the silver his head looks like a cheaply molded piece of plastic.  :roll

News for everyone, neither version of Soundwaves is show accurate. GF has the details, but Cybertron has the blue.

I tink what us nice about cannon ball us that I can picture this being a real vehical while the red alert looks so much like a playscool toy. tho the head has the peek-a-boo issue the top of the head as this gold dome is quite fitting.

 

Again Like I said before if my wall mart still has deluxes for 3 bucks when this guy comes out ten I might get him. I for one d like the new paint job. It looks like a REAL vehical w/ crazy decals.....sort of what what youd see for a goth-noize band.

cannon ball is nice im not sure if its a step up tho

 

SW is ok i dont regreat getting the takara toy tho

Agree with you on both counts there.

No regrets on buying GF Soundwave when it came out 6 months ago.  :thumb
