thanks for the find! I wanted to pick this up a while ago, but didn't have the money and totally forgot about it.  I also dig the Robotech set for even cheaper... emailed him to see if he combines on shipping.... crossing fingers.

Does it look legit? Yeah. Is the quality good? I dunno not having one. But SURELY that's a bootleg. Would NOT stop me from buying it though if I didn't already have the much more expensive American versions of the season sets. Meh.

The Chinese release sets are the only way to buy the episodes these days.

You can buy the 98 episodes and get the movie for less than a season 1 Rhino set.

The Rhino sets are going for all the money now that they are out of print.

On Amazon, used  season 1 sets start at 52 dollars!! 

Anyone have any experience with the robotech one? Is it actually Robotech, as sen in the states, or is it SDF-M with subtitles? I really really really want the AnimEigo Macross sets, but don't have $150 to blow on them....

If this is the set you are referring to, it says it has english audio & all the episode

names listed are Robotech names, not Macross.

Jeez, for that price it's tempting to sell my Rhino ones and just get this.  I still have a small grudge against Rhino for their BW treatment, and realistically I don't like their packaging and such.
