CD Scattershot

Recommended Posts

Just got him today from HasbroToyShop (took 3-4 days to get him standard shipping). I love him! Someone said theirs had the legs on backwards, but mine is fine.

This guy is just as cool as CD Red alert. He's just a bit smaller in overall beefyness compared to Red alert, but he's just as badass. Lots of firepower, he comes with a large rifle, his dual arm missile batteries, and when his 2 key ports are activated, one arm is another missile launcher (2 missiles that fire) with a transparent yellow rangefinder (which is located UNDER the arm, which I thought odd, but in tank mode its positioned properly). The other arm is a flip out cannon, uber cool. 2 key slots, but the second time I inserted the key into one slot, both arms activated. Cool.

I hope more characters in the line get CD upgrades, cuz these guys are sweet. I hope CD Hotshot is as badass as Red alert and Scattershot.

The only thing that kinda sucks is that CD Red alert has lights and sounds, but CD Scattershot does not. CD Scattershot is a Voyager class, and CD Red alert was an Ultra I think. Anyways, I love the figure, I recomend him highly!

Yeah, been scoutings the stores around me for him.

Can't wait!

Yes CD Scattorshot is it!  One of the pinnacles of the Cybertron/GF Line.  There's been a number of reviews and posts about him and the CD Team.  I just have to get my hands on the CD Hot Shot now.  Keep hunting, they're worth it.

When you see/get his transformation, in its elegance, the fake treads are understandable, ESPECIALLY given that they molded them properly on both sides.

Besides, real treads dont last long...try finding a vintage Super Gobot Destroyer with intact rubber treads....even MISB ones are cracked (of course, 20 years will do that to any rubber toy I'd imagine...)

:tfgrin

I've only seen images of CD Hotshot, and I dont much care for his robot mode...it doesnt go well with the character at all...making a rash overconfident street punk with a penchant for burnouts and reckless driving into a war machine that is the polar opposite of what he once was.....I dunno....maybe I have the character all wrong, but the CD upgrade just doesnt fit IMO. I havnt watched the series yet either though, so maybe I'm just missing some key plot information.

All these love threads for Scattorshot are just making me drool more and more. I've got to find one soon or I'm going to end up getting mine from Hasbro.

Your lucky you even found one yet. :redface

i was the one with the backwards upper legs, but i still really like the fig! he has the weakest transformation, but rocks just as hard as the others (or at least close enough)!

Well he sure is armed to the teeth
