Agreed. The transparent plastic is brittle in the first place, why should there be a friction joint anywhere near it?!

 

Even as I think about it, all the "broken"/cracked joints I can think of on my minicons come from ones that used transparent plastic (*coughstarsabercough*)... It's just annoying.

My ML Silversurfer snapped right out of the package.  I was able to superglue him, but he lost 2 directions of movement in his shoulder.

This KIND OF happened with my TFC #0 Prime reissue. He was fine when I originally got him, and then he was on display on my shelf, where he sat untouched for 2 months. One night, I pick him up and start to transform him into his vehicle mode...his right smokestack SNAPS RIGHT OFF. I didn't put any pressure whatsoever on it, in fact I barely even touched that area of his arm.

 

It was a good thing I had a junker Magnus cab that had some intact smokestacks.

My reissue 00 convoy had a broken smoke stack in its factory sealed box. I ended up buying another bexause i didnt want the hassle of sending it back so kept it as a display bot

Ugh!  I remember buying the special boxed edition that had the standard Fatimus Prime and Kicker a while back and Kicker's left leg was broken at the knee right out of the box.  After trying to salvage it, I gave up in disgust due to the tiny pieces missing and ended up gluing his knee in place.  He now sits on top of bike mode Arcee with a permanent 135 degree angled left knee.

It's not weird.  It was a common flaw with the Anniversary Kicker.  If you have one that isn't broken yet, now that's weird.

Mine broke too, the rubber band is kaputski. Common flaw. High Wire was ok though so I guess that was worth something.

id recomend the sl kicker. hes pretty cheap and quite a cool lil figure. even if he wasnt id buy him just for the silver energon saber.

He's all good. It's a shame his sword is too heavy and can't really pose with it. Also the little plastick piece underneath the PVC's fits the hole under his foot, it improves his stability tenfold!
