wow never seen this sorta error on a TF befor. its the sorta thing idd think would only happen in the hot wheels line

 

IMO idd take it back im sure hes not that rare and this seems like a one off sorta thing

Don't have it on mine either. Facory error.

Mine does pop out when you TF him sometimes but it will stay in once you reset it.

Now that is about the funniest thing I have seen.

off topiv sorta my runamuch had paint blotches on its roof which looked gastly so i got a file and took them off to the clear red plastic beneath and have now kitbashed runamuck into a battledamaged form

nope mines fine...last time i had a paint mishap like this was on my Energon Cliffjumper, when only one of his front windows was painted

nope, my downshift is perfect, although i've heard about the claw thing quite a bit whilst lurking about tf boards.  my "noisemaze" (i like the gf name better :-P) does have a paint blotch on him but unless you realy look at him you wouldn't notice, i'm not taking him back as he's HTF around here (almost peed myself when i found downshift AND exigeyser (CD hotshot, once again another figure where i like the gf name better) spent my toy fund for this month already :-P.

I'm actually surprised that something like this wouldn't have been caught. Oh well, you shouldn't have much problem in finding a replacement.

Now that is about the funniest thing I have seen.
