Not too bad of an idea, but personally, I lean much more toward Mustang Soundwave.

 

I don't remember who did it, but back before we knew about Wheeljack, someone did a digibash of Grimlock into Soundwave that was amazing (w/ the appropriate head). The coloring he did was awesome and the size and bulk of the car fits Soundwave pretty well in my opinion.

someone (I think Furious George) made one where the engine block turned into lazerbeak.  It was pretty sweet.

If he's a remold, I'd hope it's of the Scion, seems to work for him. But I doubt it'll be a van, because you know that if they announced an actual minivan it'd be Ironhide and the repaint would be Ratchet.

You would think thats the way they worked... but I think they all threw us a curveball when they announced Prime was a SRT-10 truck, or Grimlock was a Mustang....
