You weren't nuts. You just didn't know they'd start making half assed 3rd recolors with 100% no remolding. Swerve I liked after a while. Sunstreaker was a no brainer (Cause Dead End *although pretty* seemed like it was done with no brains)

I liek repaints and repaint them, too.

Just seems to be smarter to buy older version of the same mold for less money if all I'm gonna do is paint them or mod them tho'.

Oh dammit, those grill slots are still unpainted.  Why must Rollbar look like a freakin' test shot?  This is causing me to seriously rethink his purchase.

sure, it's most likely tampographed like everything else (think Smokescreen's decals)...

 

you could use rubbing alcohol if you're patient, something stronger if you're fearless

Rubbing alcohol would be my recommendation.
